The Potala Building Plan

The Potala Building Plan in the Levante region has finally been given the go ahead after three months of varying objections and proposals. In the last few months, there have been a grand total of 2,093 changes that were proposed by different businesses, associations and citizens in the area. Of these numerous ideas, over half have been approved.

The Potala Building Plan will see over 1 billion euros invested in the area, featuring many major improvement and renovation schemes. The beaches along the entire coast will be cleaned up and improved, with more infrastructures being developed for tourism. The Building Plan will take into account any environmental concerns and control construction in certain areas.

The Potala Plan also features the construction of two viewpoints in Mojacar, as well as an interpretive centre in Antas which will provide information on the remains of El Argar.  El Argar is a model site from the Bronze Age which flourished in the Almeria region between 1300 to 1800 BCE.

The Potala Building Plan also includes the transfer of the future Vera train station to be within closer proximity to major roads facilitating every day travel. The project is aimed at improving infrastructure in the region and developing the area.
