Film Celebration in Costa Almeria

The making of Spaghetti Westerns was recently celebrated in Costa  Almeria .  Dedicated fans of the films travelled from far and wide to celebrate the making of these pictures. The Rolling Road show tour is an annual event hosted by some keen American film buffs that travel around in order to visit locations where some of their favourite films were filmed.
The group of movie fans hosted a free screening of the films which attracted movie lovers from all over the country. This is the first time that the group has visited Almeria, as well as being their first time to go abroad for one of their screenings. It was a cheerful and excited group of people who enjoyed visiting Spain and promoting the work of Italian director Sergio Leone. The members of the tour screened several films, including ‘A Fistful of Dollars’, ‘For a Few Dollars More’, and ‘The Good, the Bad and the Ugly’.
Quentin Tarantino had been scheduled to be the starring guest at the road show, but unfortunately had to cancel at the last minute. This did not dull the mood of the fans however, as they cheered and applauded the opening scenes of the films. Everyone agreed that it was a success, and that it had been great to see the place where the films had been filmed.
